Lobby Access Available by Appointment Only Beginning 6/1/2020

We would like to thank our customers for their patience, kindness, and flexibility as we continue to navigate banking in our current environment.  We have been monitoring the latest coronavirus news and are doing our best to maintain essential banking services while keeping our community as healthy as possible.

As restrictions are slowly being lifted, we have made the decision to allow lobby access to customers by appointment only beginning on June 1, 2020.  The lobby will be available only to those who have called ahead to set an appointment with a banker.  In order to maintain your health and safety, appointments will be staggered and work spaces will be cleaned after each meeting. Additionally, bankers and customers will be asked to wear a face mask and abide by social distancing guidelines during your visit.  To set an appointment, please contact your banker or call the bank at 815-297-0900.

The lobby will remain closed to normal foot traffic at this time, however, drive up, ATM, and night deposit box services will still be available.  Our online and mobile banking services can also help you complete many banking tasks right from the comfort of your home.  And of course, State Bank employees are still in the building and are ready to help you in any way possible.

We so appreciate your cooperation and patience as we work together to keep our community healthy.  We look forward to seeing you again, and thank you for your business and relationship!

The Treasury Department has released the application for the Small Business Administration's Paycheck Protection lending program under the CARES Act.  State Bank is not processing applications yet, but we encourage you to start the process of completing your application now.  Please follow the steps below to prepare your application for processing:

  1. Access the SBA Paycheck Protection Loan Application here.
    1. PLEASE see the Application and program FAQ’s answered by the Illinois Bankers Association.
  2. Complete the application in its entirety.
  3. Per the Loan Application, compile tax documents used to support your requested loan amount.  Loan requests must be substantiated with tax documentation per the application.
  4. Upon completion, you may drop your application materials off at State Bank or email [email protected] and request a secure link.  When you receive the link, click on it and follow the instructions to upload and send your application files.
    1. DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION UNLESS YOU ARE CONFIDENT IT HAS BEEN COMPLETED CORRECTLY AND IN ITS ENTIRETY.  If you have any questions or uncertainties regarding your application, please reach out to your lender for assistance before submitting.

Please understand this loan volume is unprecedented for State Bank. Our lenders are working tirelessly to prepare for a flood of loan requests, and we will begin processing them as soon as allowable. Please remember, it is imperative that all documentation is in order prior to submitting your application.  Incomplete applications may not be processed in the order they were received; time is of the essence as we work to process a large volume of applications.

Our goal is to assist as many customers as possible.  While we are doing everything we can to assist you, this program will undoubtedly create loan volume the likes of which we have never seen before.  We will work our hardest to respond to your requests and are researching alternative funding methods for you if we cannot process your application.  If we are unable to get to your request in what you deem a timely manner, we understand the need for urgency and immediate assistance.  Although we appreciate your business, you may choose to look to other, perhaps larger, SBA lenders who may have more resources allocated to this particular program.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your lender with any questions regarding this process.  We thank you for your continued patience as we work together to persevere through this challenging time. Thank you for your business and relationship!
